MSI offers Voluntary Short Term Disability to our employees.  This video will review the benefits of enrolling in this coverage.  Further plan details are below:

• If you elect this benefit, you will be payroll deducted for the cost
• Pays you a benefit if you become sick or hurt and cannot work
• Benefits begin after 8 days of injury or accident
• Pays up to 60% of income in $50 increments
• Maximum Benefit = $1,000 per week
• Benefits last 13 weeks
• If you enroll in the benefit outside of your initial eligibility period, you will be required to provide Evidence of Insurability and may be approved or declined for the benefit

You have the option to enroll in Voluntary Long Term Disability through Sun Life as well.  This video will review the benefits of enrolling in this coverage.  Further plan details are below:

• If you elect this benefit, you will be payroll deducted for the cost
• Pays you a benefit if you become sick or hurt and cannot work for an extended period of time
• Benefits begin after 90 days of disability
• Pays 60% of income up to $5,000 per month
• Benefits last until Social Security Normal Retirement Age
• If you enroll in the benefit outside of your initial eligibility period, you will be required to provide Evidence of Insurability and may be approved or declined for the benefit
